With the increasing adoption of object-based audio systems including Dolby Atmos,DTS:X and Auro 3D the new Proficient line includes a speaker specifically designed to deliver the realistic, immersive and "overhead or "height effects associated with these systems. Our solution sits right on top of the LFS6 floor standing speaker or LB62 bookshelf speaker, and for added installation flexibility, can even be mounted on the wall next to the ceiling to deliver the "height effects.

The Dolby Atmos enabled loudspeakers reflect sound off the ceiling for immersive Dolby Atmos and DTS:X surround sound. Features a slanted speaker baffle, 5" graphite woofers, 1" silk dome tweeters and 60 watt power handling. The LDA5 features a matte black finish, removable black grilles with neo-magnets and integrated flush mounted single-slot wall mounts. Designed to sit on top of the LFS6 or LB62, or mount on the wall below the ceiling.
