The DSC PG9939 Wireless 4-Button Key is a key fob and panic button that is used with PowerG-compatible alarm systems. The device has easy to identify buttons for disarming, arming away, arming stay and triggering a panic. Its included key ring makes it east for a user to carry on them.

To use the device, simply press and hold a button for one second. The one second activation requirement is used to prevent the device from activating accidentally. Additionally, the panic button must be held down for three seconds. This is to prevent any false alarms from occurring on the system. The alarm system should quickly receive the command and perform the desired action.

When a command is received by the system, the key fob device will produce an LED light and a beeping sound. This will provide the user with confirmation that a command has been successfully executed. The devices compact design and key ring will them let them conveniently carry the device anywhere they go.

The PG9939 is part of the PowerG Sensor lineup. These sensors work with any DSC PowerSeries Neo Panel and any Qolsys IQ Panel 2 System that has a PowerG daughtercard. As a PowerG Sensor, the PG9939 features an impressive 2 km communication range in open air, and it is protected against hacking attempts using 128-bit AES encryption.

NOTE:The maximum range for a PowerG Sensor when used with an IQ Panel 2 Plus System is only 2, 000 feet in open air. This is considerably less than the advertised 2km range. The 2km range refers to when a PowerG Sensor is used with a DSC PowerSeries Neo System.
